Details provided in Schedule page determines the tasks that will appear in your to-do list. The schedules appear as grid. To know more about using a grid, click How to use grid.
To provide Schedule details of the plant you need to:
Click Add a new plant button under my plant library heading if the plant does not already exist else browse the plant.
Click Schedule tab on the Manage add new page, as shown in Figure 1-16.
The page allows you to specify the Fertilising schedule, Pruning schedule, and Watering schedule in a grid. You can specify any number of scheduling requirements if your plant needs fertilisation in more than one month. In addition, it allows you to set a reminder for each watering, fertilizing, and pruning requirements of the plant.

Click Fertilising schedule tab and select the month in which the fertiliser should be put in the plant from the Month dropdown column.
Select the type of fertiliser from the Type dropdown column and amount of fertilizer from the Amount dropdown column.
Select the reminders for Water, Fertilize, and Prune the plants from the Remind me to field. Tick the boxes to add in a plant to the reminders schedule.
While adding a plant to the reminders schedule, make sure the location tab is filled in correctly to calculate the right age of the plant for the reminders.

Click Pruning schedule tab and select the month in which the plant should be pruned from the Month dropdown, as shown in Figure 1-17.
Select the type of pruning from the Type dropdown and the amount of pruning from the Amount dropdown. If your type is not in the list see Managing Look up list
If your plant requires pruning more than once annually then provide more than one pruning schedule.

Click Watering schedule tab to specify the amount of water the plant should require throughout its lifetime or to get the plant established.
Specify the age of the plant as integer when it is watered on the Age column of the grid and select the time interval of the age in the Of plant dropdown.
Specify watering schedule frequency for the plant in the Water field and select the time interval for watering in Time(s) field.
Specify the amount of watering in the Amount field.
Click Save.
Watering schedules should be setup for the case that no natural rain is going to occur.
The example based on Figure 1-18 equates to watering schedule as:
When the plant reaches 3 days old, remind me to water the plant twice a week with a medium amount of water. Once the plant is 3 months old then remind me to water the plant once a week with a medium amount. Then, when once the plant is 1 year old, remind me to water the plant once a month. The system will then remind you to water the plant once a month for the rest of the plants life or until you un-tick the remind me field.
The above given schedule would be adequate to keep the plant alive if the place where the plant is growing does not received sufficient rain.
