Hello to My Garden Pals!

And a special Hello to all our new members that joined last month.  Not only was it a spring and fall fever special it was also our 1st Birthday.  And what a way to celebrate with free giveaways.

I had an email last month from a lady in Alaska asking what can be done with My Garden Pal in their winter.  So, the earth is frozen and there is no growing going on outside, but you can start planning for the thaw.  Start by researching the plants you would like to buy, or the seeds you would like to grow.   Enter as much information about the plant as you have.  Then set up reminders for placing your orders, sowing your seeds and growing reminders.  You don’t need to know all the information to share with our members so don’t forget to press the share to web button.

If you are dreaming of the warm tropics in a midst of your white haven, why not set up a dream garden?

My Garden Pal allows you to have multiple databases of gardens.  In the My Garden Pal Desktop program click “Browse My Plants”, then on the menu bar click “File” then “New”.  You could name it after your favorite dream spot, say Tahiti.  Then you could find plants that would grow in this climate and dream away.

You could also use a new garden database to collect the wonderful specimens of plants you took photos of on your recent holiday.  It provides you with a great storage facility for your plant photos together with the plant information.
Thinking of moving soon?  You could get a head start on your next garden and start building it now.

Happy Dreams!
