Well we are now truly enjoying cooler weather in the Southern Hemisphere with roses being the buzz plant around here.  There are just so many new varieties available every year there is bound to be one that suits your garden.  If you are a novice don't be scared to try and grow a rose.  There are many varieties that will suit where you live with little effort needed to take care of them.  As long as you set up your reminders so you fertilize and prune them when it is recommended, then you should have a beautiful display of roses in no time at all.

My Garden Pal is starting to get a collection of members' roses in our database.  It would be great if everyone could take a photo of their favorite rose and upload to our online database.  We can all learn from each other.
