Hello My Garden Pals!
Have you ever wondered how the garden centers make their Bromeliad bloom? While I was walking around a garden last week there was a little sign that said, “Store an apple in an airtight bag with your Bromeliad to make them bloom”. I have been wondering about this question for years but never got around to asking anyone, so I relied on my Bromeliad to bloom when they decided too. With this tip I’m hoping I will get more enjoyment out of them.

Gardening and horticulture is such an extensive subject that it is not easy to be an expert in all areas. As the years go on there is more and more information about various plants that we acquire as we gain more experience. My Garden Pal has created an easy way to pass on this experience to others through your desktop program and through our web site. |

It is little tips like the one above that could possible bring a little happiness to a few more people if I pass it on. One way to do this is by entering it in as a tip in My Garden Pal. When you enter in a tip like this it will appear in the “Tips and Events” section of the desktop software when it is appropriate for the gardening zone.
See how you can pass on your experience by Entering Tips through our web site. Log onto the web site or simply press the “Enter a Tip” button from the desktop software and it will log you into the site and take you straight to the right web page.
